Chemical specialties safely monitored
During the development and production of polyamide-based products in the Austrian plants in Lenzing and Schörfling by Evonik Fibres GmbH, the machines are subjected to a lot of stress. For this reason, they were inspected once a month. That was not enough for the maintenance team. In order to identify unplanned downtimes as early as possible, the maintenance department decided to supplement preventive maintenance with condition-based maintenance in the future.
